Sascha is retired and lives in Blayney with a truly wonderful couple who love her dearly in spite of the fact that she is a “special needs” dog who has never really learnt to feel part of a human pack because of her poor early socialisation.

Sascha was born on the 5/10/11 and is due for retirement at the end of 2018. She is a beautiful girl but unfortunately she came to us as an older puppy, after 12 weeks of age, and lived her first 3 years in Condobolin with only Joanne as human company.  Sascha highlights to us the vital importance of that first 12 weeks. She is not a genetically shy dog and her puppies are wonderful as you will see below, but she is very shy.  She’s perfectly happy with canine company and her kennel routine, but she really doesn’t like people very much at all (although Alex is gradually winning her over).  She will probably live her whole life with us because I doubt that she would ever settle into family life.

In her first litter she had 12 puppies – all of which she managed to raise successfully – although we did give two of them to Polly who only had one puppy in her first litter. These are some of her babies:

Harley and Hoover went as a pair – and seem pretty relaxed and comfortable in their new lives!
